Thank you for your interest in our Adaptive Kayaking Adventures!
Through generous donations, Challenge Mountain provides on-water activities like boating, fishing and kayaking.
Locations range from Joan’s Landing on Walloon Lake, Deer Lake and Lake Charlevoix. A fleet of kayaks – both doubles and singles in various lengths – allows for group activities. Participants enjoy the natural beauty of northern Michigan with beneficial movement and exercise.
Kayaking provides personal fulfillment through a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of acceptance that translates positively into their everyday lives. These experiences create positive individual and group development, while building social and character skills.
Location: Jones Landing Park on Walloon Lake
Time of Event: 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
Cost: Free
Things to Bring: Yourself. Kayak equipment and life jackets will be provided.
