Description
Thank you for your interest in our Creative Arts Studio program at Challenge Mountain.
The Special Needs Artistic Movement (SNAM) dance program was initiated as an Eagle Scout project by Claire Winnell and continues today as a collaboration with Crooked Tree Arts Center - School of Ballet. The class is an inclusive program welcoming those of all abilities and skill levels, and culminates with our annual “Arts are for Everyone” showcase, performed sometime in May at the Great Lakes Performing Arts Center.
Participants gain personal fulfillment through a sense of accomplishment and a feeling of acceptance that translates positively into their everyday lives. These experiences create positive individual and group development, while building social and character skills.
